    Les Chouettes (Sleeps 8/10)

Les Chouettes (The Owls) was previously used as the milking shed when La Ferme des Tourterelles was a working dairy farm.   During its recent renovation, the front wall downstairs has been left to the original limestone wall repointed to show the beauty of the stone with inset oak lintels thus retaining the character of years gone by.  Upstairs, the floor is constructed from warm looking hardwood flooring.

In the large sitting room, a wood burner nestles in the chimney place providing additional heat and ambience if you so desire. There is a separate, well equipped kitchen with dining room making it a convivial place to cook and eat together.  The windows open up onto the courtyard which provides wafts of scent of the roses and honeysuckle when in bloom.

There are two large bedrooms with a king size bed and satellite TV along with ensuite bathrooms. One is on the ground floor which has its own front door to the courtyard and is featured on this website as L’Ecurie.  Out of the months of July & August and end of year, this room may be separated off and used for bed & breakfast.  The second large bedroom is on the first floor with double aspect windows, also has a king size bed and an old French bateau bed used as a lounging sofa so you can look down the courtyard to the views of the church. The ensuite bathroom has a bath and shower.  Both bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer.

There are two large rooms with twin beds, both large enough for a third single bed to be set up if requested.  These twin rooms share a shower room with sink and toilet (shower 1.2m x 0.8m) as well as a wash room with sink at toilet, both accessed from the corridor.

To the side of the cottage is a large terrace with wood garden furniture and parasol which may be accessed directly from the courtyard or the dining room.
